What started as “HandmadebyHanigan” was never just a hobby or a side business—it was a lifeline, a love letter, and a legacy I didn’t know I was building. It began on a quiet maternity leave with Phoebe Ray, when sewing at the kitchen table during a global pandemic felt like the only place where my hands and my heart could slow down long enough to make something beautiful out of the chaos around me.

From those early stitches came dresses, quilts, tiny bloomers, and eventually… confidence. Confidence to try, to share, to create. And then came Violet Ivin—my second muse, my wildflower—who added color, whimsy, and a whole lot of fearless spirit into everything I touched.

For five years, this brand has lived in the nooks of my home and the late-night hours after bedtime. It’s where my daughters learned what it looks like to build something from scratch, and where I learned that creativity tied to purpose can outgrow the name it started with.

So now, we expand.

The Hanigan House isn’t just a rebrand—it’s a home for everything my family creates. ray&ivin collective, Kindred Interiors, Riven, Rehomed, and the pieces of our story stitched, salvaged, and styled along the way. It’s the roof over all the magic we’ve made and all that’s still coming.
